How does disaggregation work without sensors on each appliance?
Each appliance has a characteristic electrical signature when it switches on, runs and switches off. Measuring whole-home electricity at 1-second resolution lets the models identify and separate each appliance's contribution.
What does away mode detect?
Away mode detects unusual activity: an appliance switching on unexpectedly, sustained loads that do not match your away-from-home pattern, or any deviation that might indicate something was left on.
Can I automatically cut power when voltage is dangerous?
Yes. Set voltage thresholds in the app. When voltage goes outside those bounds, the system can automatically cut power or alert you to act manually.
Is my consumption data private?
Yes. Your consumption data is only visible to you through your app account. It is not shared with third parties without permission and is encrypted in transit and at rest.
